Travelling after experiencing a stroke.

What is a Stroke?
A stroke is a serious medical condition which can be life threatening. It occurs when the blood supply to part of the brain is cut off preventing blood and nerve signals travelling to the body causing external symptoms which may be recognised in the person’s behaviour, such as facial expressions or breathing. The sooner medical assistance can be sought during such an event the better, to prevent lasting disability.
Some patients are left with physical disabilities after such an event depending on the severity of the condition.
